Installation
SuperFind will install with a regular installer for your operating system: a .pkg file on Mac, an .exe on Windows. This page is provisional — the details arrive with the first public release.
-
You download the installer for your system
A single file, different for Mac and Windows. The link will arrive by email after checkout, whether you're starting the free trial or buying a plan.
-
Your system flags it as “unverified”
The installer isn't signed with a paid certificate, so on first launch macOS and Windows show a security warning. That's normal behaviour for software distributed outside the stores, not a sign that something is wrong.
-
You go ahead anyway
On both systems you get past the warning by confirming manually that you want to open the file: on Mac from the security settings, on Windows from the warning screen itself. The exact steps will be spelled out here, with screenshots.
-
You open Illustrator and activate
Once the installation is done, you'll find SuperFind among Illustrator's extensions. On first launch you're asked to accept the EULA and Privacy Policy, then either click “Start free trial” to complete a quick $0 checkout in your browser, or enter your license key if you already have one.
Work in progress
The final procedure isn't settled yet: the above describes how it will work, not how it works today. If you need to install SuperFind right now, write to us from the contact page and we'll send you up-to-date instructions.
